Texture of Emotion by Abby Lundebrek

June 7 - June 28

I think about line a lot, and the spectrum that it lies on within the human nature. A physical

representation of expression. The direct link humans have to every singular thing on this earth.

We are all just shapes made up of mathematical lines. As humans, we are made up of a strict

number of lines when anatomically drawn…but as with the intricacies of life and moments we

exchange, those 2-dimensional lines become animated with experiences. The anatomical

prediction of mathematical line changes into organic freedom of emotion. As we express these

emotions, our bodies are no longer at the threshold of their autonomy but a representation of

moments within a finite timeline of each and everyone’s life. Made up of culture, imagination,

history, color, and memory. This exhibit is meant to show the lives we all individually

experience within.
