Begin your day at Old Town Mankato Day of the Dead Street Festival, held on Riverfront Drive 10am-4pm and enjoy ethnic food and music. Then head over to Mankato West for more fun! Grammy Award-nominated composer, Brazilian- American Clarice Assad will engage and dazzle with her immersive piece É Gol, inspired by the legendary female Brazilian soccer player Marta Vieira da Silva. You’ll also hear the latest Latin tunes and a talented young Minnesotan, Vladimir Tsiper, winner of the grand prize at our Young Artist Concerto Competition! La compositora brasileño-estadounidense nominada al Grammy, Clarice Assad, te cautivará con su pieza inmersiva “E Gol”, inspirada en la legendaria futbolista brasileña Marta Vieira da Silva.
